Now im not much of a reader but i though we should start this topic anyway.
Dean Koontz (owns king) - From The Corner Of His Eye - Anybody who likes Koonts or Kings style of writing should definitly check this out. IT is a brilliant tie-in of physics, crime, and horror. Seriously, an awesome read.
J.D Salinger - Catcher In The Rye - If you can read you probably will have read this book already. We read it in school then i read it again on holiday, its awesome. Funny, dramatic, sad, romantic etcetc. Its all about lifes little struggles.

I haven't been reading much except law text books over the past 3 years and I've been catching up bit since I finished Just read Angela's Ashes and the follow up, 'Tis by Frank McCourt which were both very good. I actually bought Catcher in the Rye just before I came to Holland to read while I was here, and then forgot to pack the bloody thing. It's next on my list. My favourite book is probably Captain Correlli's Mandolin... it's infinitely better than the total sad excuse for a film they made from it. Another of my favourites is An Equal Music by Vikram Seth, beautiful writing. For lighter reading I like stuff by writers like James Patterson and John Grisham Also fantasy stuff, especially the Forgotten Realms books - Ed Greenwood and R.A.Salvatore are especially good imo.

I never really started reading until about a year ago. I started on harry potter and I love those books. Then I started to realise that fantasy was a real fave kind of style for me. But I also love government conspisercies(sp) aswell for example Deception Point by Dan Brown. I also loved Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code. I know that most of it is made up in the guys head but that does not mean it was a good read, I thought it was well put togather.

Wow that would be cool if I could read some of the excerpts. I love those type of books. I was always very good at solving stuff like that.

I like John Saul H.P. Lovecraft I also like books about true hauntings with good poltergeist activity. Graves End was a good one if I remember the title right? I like to research religions, too!!!! Any suggestions on some very dark stuff?
