Yep that's right !
Hey I bet you can (not can't ;D )do this:
When you study some french compositors, try to read the notes with the french names !
A => La Prononced like "La" in La résistance (don't know if you watch wrestling haha !)Or an easier way: the A of f'A"cination
B => Si like: see C => Do like the Do of domination D => Ré hahaha ! RRRRRRRRR the R that english people have difficulties with... well if you know the way to prononce Mozart in french you'll have it... or say Achtung in german... then for the "é" you say the start of A... and you don't say the end... like a-ye or the é in the "Déjà-vu"
E => Mi like me F => Fa like FA-cination G => Sol like soil but you don't prononce the "i".
Everybody in the street team should try ! hehe !

Yes, I play as much as possible. I studied the Piano in school taking lessons for a few years. I was told by my Professors at the University that I had the talent to be and should be a professional Classical Pianist. Thanks for asking. Well hey, you can still do it ! but then you won't have any time for you... Or you can still do Opera with your incredible voice ! Really nice seriously ! You should play guitar while singing... I don't know you could play I don't really remember the name of it... i think it's "Le chevalier à la Rose" of Strauss... It's a really known vals... Or you can invent => the Guipiano (it sound italian !), you play the bass with your left or right hand on the piano, and the melodie on the guitar... and you can sing too ;D hahaha !

i studied piano for two years without a teacher. But i quit 'cause i can't afford a real piano. my synthesyser just wasn't enough to improve my skill. i was showed basics on how to read music.
over the two years my repetiore consited of; fur elise, moonlight sonata first movement, turkish march, chopin waltz op.69 #2 (i think). mozarts simple sonata k545 1st movement, bach prelude 2 in c (the gloomy sounding one). and the first movement of bachs keyboard concerto bwv1052 (among my most favorite bach pieces.) thats it i think.

Mike, have you ever thought about writing a guitar technique book or even maybee a guitar method. I bet you could write one hell of an etude book to work on particular techniques since you're really good at milking a single technique for all its worth

Well, here goes a question typical for the bass player. -Michael, do you play a bass-guitar sometimes? -Which bass do you think is the best? -How do you feel about playing bass? Does thicker strings bother you? I don't know if I got it right, but I just wanted to hear your opinion and experience about playing a bass.

Mike, how old were you when you decided to make the transition from jazz to rock/metal? What factor led to this transition? Thanks, Ivan
